Caroline Has Arrived!!!
After much anticipation, Caroline has arrived. Her full name is Caroline Leigh Davis and she was born at 6:25 am on June 16, 2005. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs. 14 oz. and was 22 1/2 inches long. We plan to have a detailed entry on the whole birth process, but here are some pictures for now. We also have an Ofoto album you can view.
Here she is in the nursery just after being born.
She's still in the nursery, but she's now had her bath.
Since Jennifer had a c-section, Caroline had to wait for her first meal. Her fist looked pretty good at this point.
Here's the beautiful mother and her new daughter. Jennifer had just come back from recovery.
Here's the new family.
Here she is with her grandmother Joan.
This is Caroline with her great-grandmother Sara.
Caroline with her Aunt Megan and Aunt Abby.
Here she is in her carrier at home after having ridden in a car for the first time. She doesn't seem too impressed.
Finally, Caroline is sleeping in her crib after a long day.

Could it be Carolin wasn't impressed with her first ride in the car because the top wasn't down? :)

What a beautiful little angel! You and Jenn should be soooo proud! We CANNOT wait for Jonah and Caroline to become fantastic cousins and best friends! We are soooo proud of you guys as well, for bringing such a wonderful little girl into the world! Great job! We love you! See you next weekend!

Are you sure that picture of Caroline riding in the car is not a baby picture of Keir's sister, Abby? Sure looks like Abby to me!

Jennifer and Keir...
My mother and I had a telephone conversation this morning and she shared her recent beach memories and your website address with me. She was so pleased that you chose the beach location for your continuing education and she felt honored that you asked her to care for your newborn. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! She is such a beautiful baby and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the pictures. Best Wishes...
